Case Studies
A number of current issues may heavily impact the Osa and Golfito region. INOGO will focus on these issues in a series of detailed, objective, analytical case studies. More case studies may be produced in the future, but currently INOGO is planning to produce documents on the following themes:
- The demand for the proposed international airport in Palmar Sur;
- The impact of the proposed Diquis Dam on the Terraba Sierpe Wetlands and the marine life of the region;
- Potential solutions to the land tenure problems within the Asentamiento Osa and the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve;
- The Social Landscape of African Oil Palm Production in the Osa-Golfito Region.
